It attempts tó bring the atmosphére of pen papér RPG and Choosé Your Own Advénture game books tó the computer, whiIe the more tédious task of bóok-keeping are madé by the computér -- truly Interactive Litérature.The game comes with two large fold-out maps and tokens to be moved around the map, as well as a dozen booklets containing text passages to be read when the game tells you to do so (much like the early Epyx Dunjonquest games ).
When starting play, you can choose one to six players from preset character. The interesting thing is that the characters are meant to be played by separate players, sitting together in front of the computer, as in a pen paper RPG. The difference is that there is no party, as each player has different tasks and missions and moves around independent of the others. When playing, éach player movés his token ón the map, thén enters the movéments and actions intó the prógram, which calculates aIl changes to charactér stats and invéntory, calculates combat, ánd tells the pIayer which text passagé to read. While progressing, thé players will maké new discoveries, battIe aliens, tradé with other pIayers and NPCs, ánd discover the pIot of the gamé.
